Week Starting: 22nd July 2019 – Week Ending: 4th August 2019

Student Ages: Minimum Age 11 – Maximum Age 17

Duke of York’s Royal Military School is a boarding school with a rich military heritage. Surrounded by 150 acres of green areas, it’s located in Kent amongst the stunning White Cliffs, just a short distance from Dover.

 

Accommodation College – All rooms are either single, twin or triple with en-suite facilities. Full board included.

 

Facilities The school was recently rebuilt and has invested a lot in sports and leisure activities as an integral part of the students’ life

The language course includes 30 hours of tuition in two weeks* with an average of 15 hours per week, by English speaking teachers, with an entry test and a final certificate.
Students are assessed on their communicative ability on their first day in order to be properly assigned to their language course – courses range from Elementary to Advanced levels**.

Students follow a topic based syllabus and will take part in tasks that are designed to improve their spoken communication and language production.
Maximum 15 students per class.

*Subject to additional classes if the student is taking the Trinity Exam and has requested them.
